Wow, it's been a while since this has been updated...so I'll take the liberty of doing so!

We're still working on tour booking, right now the areas we're struggling with the most are CA, TX, and the Northeast coast. If you can help us get a show for any of these dates in ANY CITY in that state, please let us know at booking@thebrokenpromise.com, and we'll be sure to hook you up (especially if you're in a band that can help us get a show...we can get you shows in Minneapolis no problem.)

The dates where we need the most help (bold being most important because of 2 shows in each state):

May 29/June 1/2/3 - Northeast US (PA, NY, NJ, MD, DC area)
June 7/8 - TX
June 9 - OK (none of the clubs in OK seem to respond and none we've been working with seem to have phones or answering machines...)
June 10 - CO
June 12/13 - CA
June 14 - AZ or else OR

In other news we'll be recording a new "limited edition" EP for the tour, which will include 2 current songs, 2 brand new songs, and 2 acoustic songs. It will sell for $3, and will be AVAILABLE on May 25 - right before we leave for tour. We decided not to release the other EP yet, because we've written so many new songs that we want to keep that EP and turn it into a full-length for release later this fall.

I posted on the Roxy thing in an earlier post...we needed to sell 50 tickets to get the show, and out of everyone from CA who said they'd go...nobody bought a ticket - hence, no show. We're still working on Chain Reaction, but any idea of any smaller places to play (other than Cobalt...they're already booked.)

hmm hmm, ok, sorry that so sucks! :( I think I emailed you, or IMed you or something, asking for your paypal or whatever, but I never got a reply. oh well. Hmm... I'll think of any other small clubs, possibly even the El Rey Theatre. And some other bands, and I'll let you know. Maybe I'll make a show, and book you guys for those dathes in CA. ;) Keep your hopes up! <33

The Martini Lounge, The Whiskey a go go,The Knitting Factory, and The Mosaic Cafe

Hey Emma - I've talked to Knitting Factory and hopefully we can get in there (we're playing at the New York Knitting Factory at the end of May!) We'll have to see. Also, thanks for the other venues, I'll look in to them!
